Get real-time arrival alerts with valet access, codes, and restroom availability.
First-time Tesla owners now get a step-by-step setup guide built right into the car.
Who’ll get the updates?
Vehicles with AMD infotainment processors.
Initially, the Grok AI integration is for vehicles in the US.
Newer vehicles, specifically those delivered July 12, 2025, or later, will receive it, with older compatible vehicles getting it via over-the-air (OTA) updates.
Tesla Unveils Live Dashboard for Puerto Rico's VPP
Tesla launched a new web dashboard for its Powerwall Virtual Power Plant (VPP) program in Puerto Rico. This innovative dashboard offers a real-time, minute-by-minute view of how over 63,000 participating Powerwall owners are collectively stabilizing the island's power grid.
The VPP allows thousands of individual Powerwalls to act as a single energy resource, automatically dispatching stored energy to prevent outages during grid instability.
Capable of delivering up to 50 Megawatts, this initiative provides a powerful, grassroots solution to Puerto Rico's long-standing energy challenges. It will also improve grid resilience for the entire community. (source: notateslaapp)
CATL Looks Beyond EVs Toward a Greener Future
Tesla supplier CATL is expanding far beyond electric vehicle batteries. Analysts say it’s growing fast in Energy Storage Systems (ESS), where it already leads the world. These systems help stabilize power grids and store clean energy for later use.
CATL also wants to become a full green energy provider, working on zero-carbon grids for cities and data centers. The company now offers ready-made EV platforms and is developing new battery tech for markets like electric airplanes. (source: CNBC)
X and xAi
-Tesla is now showing Grok AI on its official website for the first time. This means Grok could soon be part of Tesla cars, helping with voice commands and smart features. It also shows how Tesla and xAI are working more closely together.
-The new 2025.26 software update brings Grok AI directly into Tesla vehicles.
Early rollouts are starting soon, letting drivers access smart answers and voice help right from the car. This marks the first step in merging Tesla’s in-car experience with xAI’s growing AI ecosystem. More features are along the way.
-Elon claims the rumor of xAi seeking valuation of $200 billion to be false. He also confirmed xAi has enough capital right now so they are not looking to launch any fundraising campaign right now.
Starlink and SpaceX
-As of July 13, 2025, Starlink has an estimated 6,355,533 subscribers.
- Elon Musk congratulates SpaceX for Falcon 9’s completion of its 500th mission.
-SpaceX launched its Falcon 9 rocket on July 13, 2025, from Cape Canaveral, Florida. The mission Commercial GTO-1, carried a satellite named Dror-1, built by Israel Aerospace Industries. This satellite will help with communication in space for the next 15 years. The rocket’s booster, B1083, completed its 13th successful flight, showing how reusable rockets save time and money. The satellite was placed into geostationary transfer orbit, where it will move into final position soon.
-SpaceX's Dragon spacecraft is set to undock from the International Space Station on July 14, 2025. It carries the Axiom Mission 4 (Ax-4) crew. This mission marks a historic return to space for government-sponsored astronauts from India, Poland, and Hungary after over 40 years, as highlighted by Axiom Space.
-SpaceX has received approval from Cameron County commissioners to build a liquid oxygen plant near the South Texas beach. This new air separator facility, located close to the Starbase launch site, will produce vital rocket propellant (liquid oxygen and nitrogen) on-site. The plant aims to significantly boost efficiency by eliminating the need for hundreds of truck deliveries per launch. While approved, the project faced objections from some residents and environmental groups. They are concerned about its proximity to sand dunes and potential impact on local wildlife. Commissioners asked SpaceX to stick to the plan for fixing any damage they cause.
Neuralink
-Alexandr Wang, founder of Scale AI and a leader in Meta's superintelligence efforts, has revealed he's delaying having children. His reason? He's waiting for brain-computer interfaces like Neuralink to become widely available.
Wang believes children born with these brain chips, particularly during their highly neuroplastic early years, could learn to integrate with AI in unprecedented ways. This controversial stance highlights the ongoing debate about human evolution, AI's rapid advancement, and the ethical implications of merging human biology with technology from birth. The Boring Company
-The Boring Company has expanded access to its Las Vegas Loop. They made it available to everyone from 10 AM to 9 PM, seven days a week. Previously, the underground transport system was limited to convention center visitors only. Now, locals and tourists can hop into Tesla vehicles and travel between key destinations. Initially, you can visit Las Vegas Convention Center, Resorts World, and Westgate. More stops will be available soon.
