Leaked Emails Revealed Why Is Australia Blocking Tesla’s Safest Tech Yet?
A new government email shows Australia is blocking Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) rollout, despite proven safety.
Tesla planned to launch FSD (Supervised) in Australia between late May and early June 2025.
But the Department of Transport stepped in, halting the rollout without public explanation or updated safety guidance.
This comes as Tesla Autopilot crushes U.S. safety stats, showing far fewer crashes than human drivers.
Tesla Robotaxi Expands Service Area in Austin This Weekend
Tesla's Robotaxi service will expand in Austin this weekend. Elon Musk confirmed this on July 10. The service area will get bigger. It will cover busy downtown Austin. Areas like South Congress Bridge are included. This shows faith in Tesla's FSD tech. It helps Tesla catch Waymo. More Robotaxis will join soon. More people can use the service.
The Tesla Semi Returns with a New Look!
The newly updated Tesla Semi prototype was spotted at Tesla's Gigafactory in Nevada, hinting at a potential production ramp in the near future. The refreshed design features updated mirrors, a new drop-down glass section to improve driver visibility, and a power take-off system. These changes suggest Tesla is actively refining the truck for broader real-world deployment.
Tesla Opens First Showroom in India on July 15
Tesla will open its first Indian showroom in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex on July 15. The Model Y will be the first car offered, fully imported from Tesla’s Shanghai Gigafactory. With import duties, the estimated price is around ₹70 lakh.
Tesla also plans to expand into Delhi, aiming to build its presence in India’s growing EV market.

-11th July at Starbase , a new framework has been installed on the Pad 1 Booster Quick Disconnect (BQD). Over at Mega Bay 2, the bay door is open, offering clear views of Ship 38 and ongoing Giga Bay construction. Activity continues to ramp up across key launch and assembly sites.

The Boring Company
-Universal Orlando Resort is exploring a tunnel project beneath International Drive and it may bring in Elon Musk’s Boring Company to build it. According to the Orlando Business Journal, Universal is considering a Vegas-style underground loop, using Tesla vehicles to shuttle guests between its two campuses. If approved, it would mirror the Las Vegas Convention Center Loop, offering a faster, high-tech alternative to surface traffic in one of Orlando’s busiest corridors.
